License
For the @ajh 7k kit. Plain English, and it is the whole thing.
Buying the kit gives you, one person, permission to use these samples in music you make. That permission does not expire and there is nothing more to pay. It is not a transfer of ownership: I still own the sample library itself.
You can
- Use any sound in the kit in your own productions: beats, songs, remixes, live sets, video soundtracks, game audio, whatever you are making.
- Release those productions commercially. Sell them, put them on Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube or anywhere else, and keep every cent. This is royalty free, so I take no cut and no publishing.
- Chop, pitch, stretch, layer, resample and process the sounds as far as you want.
- Use them in work you are paid for, including beats you sell or lease to other artists, as long as they receive your finished production and not the samples themselves.
- Credit me if you feel like it (ajh or prodajh). It is appreciated, never required.
You cannot
- Resell, rent, lend or give away the kit, any folder from it, or any individual sample as a sound file.
- Redistribute it: no re-uploading, no file sharing, no Drive links, no Discord servers, no torrents, no passing your download link to anyone.
- Include these samples in another sample pack, drum kit, loop library, preset pack or sample-based instrument, free or paid.
- Claim ownership of the samples themselves, register them with a content identification system as your own sounds, or try to stop other buyers from using them.
- Use the sounds to train or fine-tune an audio generation model or dataset.
The line is simple: sell what you make with the sounds, never the sounds.
One buyer per purchase
One purchase covers one person. A studio, label, collective or class where several people would be pulling from the kit needs one purchase per person. If that is awkward for you, message me and we will work something out instead of you guessing.
Your download
Your download link is issued to your order, it works once, and it expires. Sharing it is the same as redistributing the kit and it also burns your own download. If a download fails, that is not on you: ask and I will issue a new link.
If this gets broken
If the kit is resold or leaked, the permission above ends for whoever did it, and I can refuse to issue further links. I would much rather just fix a broken download than deal with any of that.
Honest limits
The kit is drawn from years of digging, personal recording and processing. It is sold as it is, with no promise that a specific sound suits a specific project. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
